Why can I see someone's Facebook profile in Timeline mode already if there is a 7 day preview period?

Facebook's Timeline was made available to all users today, and it says there is a 7 day trial/grace period during which you can review your profile before it goes live. How come I can see some of my friends' Timelines already? Does it mean you can slip the 7 day review and make it visible already?

Some of your friends may have already published theirs. You can do that on the top of your profile page (with timeline on) right next to where it says "Take a tour". If you haven't published it, it will look like a normal page to everyone else. And after the 7 days (Dec 22) all timelines go live, whether they're published or not.
Hope that's what your looking for ![]() |
