Facebook groups?
When you join a group on Facebook, does that mean that you are allowing all the people in the group to see your page, or is it more like a forum?

No, they cannot see your profile as long as they are not your friends or in your network.

it depends on your privacy settings...if you want anyone to be able to view your profile, then anyone will...I have it set at just my friends can view it...others can see that I have one but they can't view it unless I'm their friend, make sense?
