How can I stop being depressed over this?
I am socially awkward so I have like no friends. The friends I have are old enough to drink and they go out all the time. I'm also the only person I know who has absolutely no access to alcohol or drugs. Last time I was offered was 2 years ago because I posted a code on facebook and was lucky that a dealer looked at my profile. But even then, taking drugs by yourself is boring. I have fantastic parents too, but I'm also a bit upset cause they shielded me my whole life and I couldn't do the things other people could do. I feel lonely, like I've totally missed out on being a teenager and it's mighty depressing. Every time I try to talk to someone about this they're all like "No you should be glad to be healthy" blah blah f*cking blah. I just wanna say SHUT!!! UP!!! You got to be a teenager once. Healthy living is boring and for old people. I'll be healthy when I'm 40. I just wish I could have fun once in awhile. I really am the only person I know who has never been to a party, stoned with my friends, or anything else. It's just sad. What do I do?

Your "friends" are destroying their bodies. I'm a teenager and I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs, and I have a wonderfully fulfilling life. God created you and no one should ever do anything to damage their bodies, because they are temples of the Living God Himself. Turn to Jesus when you feel left out or lonely, and He will be there to comfort you, as He always is. Smile

Just tell your friends you want to go out with them.
