help with facebook friends groups and photo visibility?

hi,
on Facebook, I have a 'family' group who I have prevented from seeing certain photos,

a family member had sent me a friend request, and I would like to add them to this list, but will they still be able to see the photos because the photo album was published before they were added to the list? Or if I add them to the list, will they be prevented from seeing the photos too?

Hi,

If you add them to a list which is prevented from seeing certain photos then they should not be able to see/access them either.

But, if you are worried and want to double ensure this, ignore their friend request (say is was by mistake) then send them your own friend request. This is because when you send friend requests you have the option to 'Add to List' before they've even accepted you as a friend and therefore ensuring they dont get to see your photos before you got a chance to add them to your list.
