Im confused by what my uncle meant?
Okay so i recently updated my facebook profile picture and today, my uncle posted saying these exact words: "Lovely, my dear. This is lovely. And the cover confirms my suspicion that you have some Portland, Oregon in you."
And now im confused becauze ive never been to oregon whIch means that ive never been there! My uncle does, though... I did catch that it was a compliment but im still confused Ads |

Sounds like a Compliment.
Since your Uncle comes from the area. |

Clearly your uncle has some fond memories of Portland, Oregon and something in your cover reminded him of those good memories.
It's like an Irish guy saying to an American girl who has never been out of the US, "there's something in you Irish". He means that she has some traits that remind him of Irish women, possibly his mother. |
