new Facebook groups help ?

hi, ive recently created a group with the new facebook, and the settings say "open" "closed" or "private". i have put it on open but my friends still have to be added to the group?
any help?

Open does not mean that all are added in the group. Open only means that any body can join in your group after having taken your permission. Open also means that the group can be searched in the search box. So, anybody can search your group and can send you request for joining it.

So, although you have out your group as open, you will have to still add your friends to group.
