How do i delete birthdays using ical on mac?

I have facebook integration on my mac running 10.8.2 mountain lion. Now all of a sudden over 1000 of my facebook friends birthdays have clogged up my ical space. All i can see is there birthdays and i was wondering how do you delete them all or uncheck a box enabling this? Thanks

At the top of your calendar application is a "Calendars" button. When you click it, you get a box on the left side that shows all the calendars you have enabled. One of them should be in the "Subscriptions" category, called "Birthdays". Just uncheck the box next to it and birthdays should no longer appear.

Just go to the Calendar App itself and on the top left is a settings option. When you scroll down in that menu, you can shut off Facebook Birthdays or Events.
