Question about privacy settings on Facebook?

Can I hide from my friends what I hide on other profile's wall posts?
I know I can delete it from recent activity but it shows up on my friend's news feeds.
If anyone has a step by step suggestion, please let me know Thank you.

look in your privacy settings

so first log in. and go to Profile Settings ^

after clicking that click on Customize settings ^

then scroll down to what it is your exactly looking to hide and click if you want everyone, friends or customize (certain people can see and certain cannot see)



or hide your status update from others:

type anything you want and click on customize again ^
