I didn't like it either, but you can't go back. Facebook wants everyone to go to it eventually, which is silly. I think they should give you the option of either at least. Sorry! You have to learn to like it.

You cant change back completely to the old style profile, but you can view all personal timeline pages in the old style profile page format in your own browser via this simple guide:
http://fbpurity.com/remove-timeline If you check the page, you will see that the solution has received over 15,000 "likes", and hundreds of positive comments on the feedback section, so you can be sure it really does work. FB Purity is a completely safe website and browser extension, for proof you can check out what top computer security company, Norton, says about it: http://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=fbpurity.com BTW if you want to give feedback to Facebook about Timeline, you can do so directly via their official feedback form here: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact_us...2491747654 |

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update
this guide will help you learn how to use it http://abrax.us/Facebook/TimelineChecklist.php it will take you a few days to get used to the changes, but overall, it's much better than the old profile you can trick out your browser settings to IE7 to see your old page ONLY ON YOUR COMPUTER - EVERYONE else will still be seeing your timeline and all the stuff you dont want them seeing, so dont think for a minute it will protect your privacy, and in fact, it will anger anyone else who uses the same computer IE7 (and just tricking your browser into thinking that it's IE7) has MAJOR SECURITY FLAWS which will leave your entire computer vunerable to attacks from phishers, spammers, and hackers, and people trying to steal your banking information and your identity is facebook that important to you, to risk it? |

There's no way to undo the Timeline upgrade. Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.
Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are. |

Unfortunately, there is no way to "undo" the Timeline. I don't like it, either. It was just fine before it was introduced. Seriously. I'm so sick of Facebook changing and they don't care.

Facebook don't yet provide an official option to get Timeline off, still you have a method to revert back to old Facebook from Timeline, read it here and implement: http://techably.com/2012/02/revert-back-...-timeline/
Hope you find it useful. |
