Should I be concerned that my boyfriend looks up attractive girls from his college on facebook?

I have been with him for a little over 6 months now and I seen on his facebook that he has searched girls from school, not just like 1 or 2, but 5 or 6 a day, for months! I asked him about it and he says that he does not know why he does it, he just likes to get to know them better, although he has never looked up guys on there, only girls. He claims that he doesn't talk to any of them, he just looks at their profiles. I am feeling really insecure about it, as it seems weird that he would be doing this. He says he loves me and he doesn't feel like he is doing anything wrong, but I just can't get over this feeling that he is looking them up for reasons other than what he is telling me. Has anyone else come across this situation? Am I just being insecure, or is this a sign that he could be a cheater?

Yep! Looking is a precursor to cheating.

Not a cheater, he's just curious, he probably just remembered one girl and looked them up then found they were friends with another girl from college

I feel like it could be a sign of cheating. Because, if he truly loved you. He'd be going to your profile everyday and looking at your face and your body, instead of everyone else's. Just be on the watch out for him. Goodluck!

He shouldn't be looking up girls at all, let alone attractive ones and looking at their profile... That's just weird and not needed because he's in a relationship. .__. ~Grimmy~

This is tricky. I don't know why he would be doing that. I would be concerned about it too. That said, it could be really innocent. He may just be trying to see what girls his age are doing now, like are they usually married with kids, what they do, etc. Is there any pressure in your relationship with him to settle down? If so, could this be making him uneasy? I don't know. I wish I had better reasons. Rather than harp on him about it, maybe act interested in seeing their profiles with him? And not in a jealous manner, but like something you are interested in b/c he is.
