What does # mean on twitter?
im new to twitter what does the symbol # mean
ex: I want 2 win tix 2 see @justinbieber perform songs fr his new album My World 2.0 in NYC this wknd click here http://bit.ly/cqcMvX #MyWorld2

and also how do you reply to a tweat that someone made so that it shows up on their profile?

The # is a hash tag. The words that come after it are a theme or group that the post, or whatever it is, can be grouped under. Things with the same and similar hash tags are grouped together.

eg. "#music" would be about music.

If you were to search on #MyWorld2 it would find all posts in that tag.

Hence the reason for the # to create tags.
