I went to a good friends of mines party, and I recently (last thursday) broke up with my boyfriend. I really like him but when he is with his friends he is nice to me and jokes around A LOT! We chat on Facebook and I showed him a photo and he said: 'Nawww cute' I really like him but want to tell him but if he is with his friends, he will take it as a joke. He might like other girls and I know who he has dated. He does give me tips and is kind to me but I'm stuck and confused... We don't see each other that often...

How do I tell him I like him!

YES!! ask him out but say its ok if he doesn't and make sure he knows there doesn't have to be awkwardness between you if he doesn't, say something like "i like you but its ok if you don't because i can move on and i don't want it to be awkward if you don't!" DON'T let him stop you unless he says he does like you back.
