For this make your privacy settings and visibility preferences set to your friends and friends of friends only so as per your requirement.

1) The most you can limit friend requests now is by going to privacy settings > How you connect > Who can send you friend requests? > Friends of Friends. Same thing for messages except you can set that to friends only.
2) You can create a limited audience for pictures that were uploaded under your account. You can do this by album or by each individual picture. Go to the picture/album to do this. As far as photos uploaded by someone else that you are tagged in, there is no way to control people seeing those. Not from your own account anyway.
3) On Privacy Setting you'll see an option called Limit Audience for Past Posts. Click on it and it will limit your past posts to friends only. Posts made anytime from here on out can be limited in their audience by you (your responsibility, Facebook can't do it for you anymore.) The audience for posts made by someone else onto your timeline can be found under "Timeline and Tagging." 4)
Cover photos are always public, you can't do s*it about it.
5) The "About Me" bio has to be modified by section. You have to individually set each one to Friends. For Likes and Interests, you must also select each section individually (Music, Movies, TV, etc.) and set them to Friends.
