No. It's not true. First there is no way for Facebook to keep track of who sends what messages, and the 2nd, Why on earth would Facebook do that? Cancelling people who dont' send a certain message? Why would they even spend the time and resources to keep track of such things?

When you think about it, it's pretty funny. In truth, this is merely a way for people to clog up the messaging service in a poor attempt at some sort of attack. Others just want to see how gullible people are, and others get some sort of thrill seeing people posting their 'warnings'. No, Facebook won't close your account for not posting a message to 25 friends....

Anytime I get something like that I head over to snopes.com and check their archives.

Absolutely not. This is what you call a "chain message" or "chain letter", and are usually done as jokes on Facebook and through email. It is a proven fact that when you ignore them, nothing happens. Iv'e never followed the instructions they give, and have never suffered the obscured consequences they claim. For more info on this subject, there is a Wikipedia page for it:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chain_letter

You have nothing to fear. Also, Facebook has better things to do than this.
Hope this helps,
Revin

No. Not really. Facebook is not really closing anytime soon.

And further, you should avoid any message that asks you to forward it. Cause it's all spam,
If you are confused, there are always websites like snopes.com you look up.

Not at all, these con's crop up every few months. I really do not get the mentality of those who start them. Ignore it, FB will be here after I am pushing up the daisies, lol.
