I need help with the new facebook newsfeed privacy settings?

Ever since facebook has last updated now it is showing everyone my newsfeed on my wall. Whenever I add a friend, most on someones wall, like someone status etc. I don't like this and before on facebook you could change the setting where no one could see this. Is it is possibly to block people from seeing that stuff. Thanks
