Facebook won't let me see my best friend's profile..?

I know for a fact that none of us blocked each other and we've been trying to fix this for about a week. My friends can see his profile and my mom is friends with him and so is my sister. Everyone can see his profile just fine, but for some reason every time I search up his name on my profile, he's not there. Everything he's tagged in only shows his name in black and doesn't let me click on his profile. We WERE friends at one point on facebook, so I really don't know what could have happened. This is a big problem as he is my best friend, so I kind of need to fix it asap.

It honestly sounds like you were blocked. If everyone else can see it and you can't, that's most likely the problem.

One of you blocked the other there is nothing else it could be if other people can see his profile still. Might have been on accident, or he blocked you and didn't tell you. Have you talked to him about it? If it was an accident...which would be really hard to accidentally do, but just in case.. just go into your settings and I don't remember exactly where you go but there's a place that will show you all the people you've blocked and will give you the option to unblock them. If his name isn't on there, then he blocked you.
Edit: it's in privacy settings at the very bottom it says blocked people and apps. if his name isn't there, then he blocked you.
