I "lied" about my mother's death to my online friends? T.T?
Okay so...I know this is really bad and you should NEVER lie about someone dying because that's totally not funny, I wasn't trying to be but let's just say I got home and before I got home I noticed a bad car crash and when I got home, door was locked, nobody was home and neither was her car, I was starting to worry that it might've been her so I did the most stupidest thing I climbed in the window and went on my computer, went on facebook and went all like "MY MOTHER DIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! STUPID DRIVERS!!!" and stuff like that and well.... I regret posting it. Now my online friends are concerned about it and they're asking me questions, I do in a way want to tell them the truth but to tell them would sound so stupid T___T I don't know why, I was just really worried and thought she died because when I got home nobody was there, not even the car was home and now I'm having to lie and say "I might have to live with my aunt now.." and now I'm thinking if I should try to make it seem like it's okay by saying something like "I got a phone call from the hospital, all three drivers are in critical care and my mom is doing a little okay.. I may have to stay with someone so she can recover, I thought she was really gone...." or something like that T_T yes, I am aware of how stupid that was of me to say on facebook when I wasn't even sure if it was her....I dont know what to do T_________T I want to fix this and stop worrying! I dont want my friends to think I'm an orphan (not that there's anything wrong with that of course) or if I 'accidently' tell them something my mom did to make me laugh they'd be like "I thought she was dead?..." >__< please help! I feel horrible already
Who could I ring when she doesn't have a cellphone? She wasn't going to anyone's house even, she just said she was going out, but not to a friend's house or anything T_T
The T_T's are suppose to be an anime person crying

Did you not think to check if she was okay by ringing somebody first, instead of going straight online and telling people that she was dead? What a stupid thing to do, you need to tell them the truth and just say you were in a state of panic. People will be abit weirded out at first but it's better than trying to prolong a lie! If you get caught out in the end people are just going to think you're an attention seeker, and probably won't talk to you again.
Tell them the truth, and tell them soon, or risk losing your friends.

& for the love of god, please stop using this "T_T".

dont compound your lie with more lies. come clean, and maybe keep your online buddies.

hopefully this will teach you to think a little before jumping to conclusions?

. . . and by the way: whats with the T____T thing???

You need to be honest and tell the truth. Covering a lie with another lie is never the wisest thing to do. You will get caught in your lies and your friend's will never be able to trust you. You just need to tell them that you overreacted and that your mom is fine. You can tell them that you panicked and you were sure that your mom was dead. You also need to say that you are sorry for getting them involved. Tell them that you saw a car accident and that you were sure that it was your moms car and that you lost it by thinking that your mom had died.

Just make a status that says she's okay. It's the truth you didn't explain what happened. Just ignore people's questions. just because they ask doesn't mean you have to answer them at all.
