My boyfriend told a small lie. should i let it go?

I was on facebook lastnight and my news feed said my boyfriend was now friends with this super slutty looking girl which is fine I trust him in that fact but when I asked him why he added a child ;she was 15 we are 23 he said ' she added me ' . Which was a lie and I could see on his profile he's the one who sent it (in his defense you can't tell this girl is so young she looks very mature lol) so why did he lie and say she addeed him.?? Should I bring it up again and be angry or just realize sometimes we tell small lies because I know I do get angry overstuff and he most likely didn't want a fight. Ideas?thoughts?

Actually telling lie is a very bad habit. People who tell lie may not liked by others. In a relation trust is very important matter. I think you may solve this problem by telling him that please don't tell me lie, I trust you never break it.
