Why did my friend suddenly delete 200 friends off his Facebook, including me?

He told me that he was planning to delete his Facebook but he's still there! After he deleted me and blocked me, I searched him on Facebook and I found him. He had deleted 200 friends, which is odd because I haven't done anything to anger him. He likes me too but we're not close friends. He commented on a photo of mine, saying that he loved my new hair cut before he deleted me and 199 other friends. I confronted him about this matter and he told me that he deactivated his Facebook but I know this is a lie since I was able to find him on Facebook with my alternate account. I have my own friends, it's just that I like him too and I know we won't be able to see each other very often since we live 2 hours away... but why the sudden delete?

Is he just cleaning up his Facebook? Why now? Doesn't he think about the future, in which he may need those contacts for job references or connections?

He must only want to use it for his close friends. I only have 80 friends on Facebook. I don't need any more because the ones I have on Facebook would be the only ones I would ever talk to. Although I still only talk to about 10 of my Facebook friends regularly.

He obviously doesnt want you contacting him on Facebook, nor all those other people. You dont need Facebook for job connections. that's what LinkedIn is for. Perhaps he met some female he didnt want thinking badly of him for having too many women on his Facebook. Or maybe he's just sick of Facebook and wants to use it for his friends and family. Either way, he's NOT a good person. LIARS SUCK... so you should feel lucky he blocked you!

And do you really think someone needs 200 "friends" from Facebook for future jobs? People don't get jobs all the time because of their Facebook accounts.
