new facebook privacy settings 2011?

is there a way to go back to the old privacy settings on facebook? like the one before the update a few months ago? i just can't figure the settings out and i've looked up so many blogs and things on how to use it. i just don't get it. it's annoying mee. they changed it to make it "simpler" but i think they just made it much, much harder. are there any good websites that teach u how to use it? i want to be able to make my wall and pictures only visible to some of my friends without blocking people. like only visible to my close friends in real life. because there are some more private things i post towards 100ish people but i still like seeing some of my less close friends' posts.
without manually going thru every post. also how do i block my wall from people who aren't my friends? i want it to be completely blank without recent activity to people i haven't friended.
