How can I prosecute someone?
I use cloth diapers. With cloth diapers, you can sell used ones and also trade them for equal value of others. This lady who was on a group on Facebook has been scamming people out of money. We had agreed to trade. I sent my 4 diapers and she was supposed to send 2 all at equal value. She never sent them, than blamed it on the post office. I recently found another woman who was scammed out of 175 dollars from the same woman. We all live in different states and I think it is very shameful that someone could do such a thing. Its stealing from my baby, not me and we are trying to find a way to get some kind of justice, if any. I have all transcripts of our conversations. Her email address, and her physical address.

Thank you
Slavik, your very rude... Obviously you don't know about today's Cloth diapers. Cloth diapers are very economically and so much cheaper than Disposables. Though, with you calling me stupid, you must know that it takes a good 500 years for a disposable diaper to decompose, but again, I'm stupid and to you I probably don't know shit.

To the others thanks and I've learned my lesson about scammers on facebook. And I don't want to prosecute them personally, just believe something should be done to this lady. I don't mess with the law, its never messed with me, So if i said the wrong terms i'm sorry... Just curious about my question, wanting to feed my brain with some knowledge and for those who didn't judge me, thank you.

Is this a serious question? You should be prosecuted for stupidity. Go to walmart or some natural pantry store and buy diapers.

CASE CLOSED.

If you have enough info they can. These days they have law enforcement surfing the net looking In your police department has one talk to them.

Why would you go thru that trouble to get diapers on the net aren't they cheap enough. She found a way of getting free diapers. This didn't ring any bells?

You can't prosecute anyone. Only the District Attorney can do that. You can try reporting the scam to the police, but you also owe it to yourself to become a little more savvy about falling for Facebook schemes.
