How do I remove groups I belong to on Facebook?

I want to remove myself from groups I was a member of on Facebook but can't figure out how.
as a member of a group, why would I remove all the other members and administrators just bec i want to remove myself? That's a bad answer tiffany.

Go to the group page. Under the group picture, there should be a option to remove yourself from the group

Go to Settings > Application Settings > Groups

It will bring you to a Groups page.
Scroll down...
at the bottom you'll see a link that says "See all of my groups" (right hand side). Click on that.

Now click on the name of the group you want to leave.
Now look for the link :
On the right hand side, there's a link that says "Leave Group"

Removing a Facebook group is pretty simple. As a matter of fact, Facebook runs periodic jobs aimed to remove empty groups, and thus all you need to do is to remove all members from the groups and lastly remove yourself and other group administrators. Facebook will take care of the deletion of the group within a short period of time.
