Facebook Privacy Concerns?
Does anyone have any privacy concerns on facebook?

I don't know how I feel. It's just, there is so much information out there and people can pull up. There is a lot more information out there than you can find in facebook--but everyone and their grandma is online now.

sigh

any thoughts?

I have no concerns over FaceBook and my security. For a start, the only way people can see any real information about you is if you allow them to. And you can even limit what they see.

Then there's the fact that they only see what you put on FaceBook.

Anyway there's almost never anything to fear about what's on the web in terms of your information. Contrary to popular belief, just because you're on MySpace doesn't mean you'll get your bank accounts stolen and stalked by every sex offender in the world.

Worst case scenario is you get lots of spam. Though I never get any from FaceBook...

no one can see the information unless you are in the same network. you can chose to have stricter privacy so only the people you choose as friends can see.

also the only thing someone could really find out about me is my email address and what my favorite music is. not exactly vital information. it's not like my social security number is on there or credit cards...

also you can choose what information you show so if you dont want anyone to see your email you can do that or birthday, year, anything you can choose to not show it on your profile.
