Facebook message issues?

So me and my gf broke up? We used to message on Facebook all the time. Well after the breakup I removed her. My profile is set that only friends can message me. Yet she is still messaging me by replying to my last message. How is this happening? Has anyone else dealt with this?

If this is happening and you don't want her to message you, block her, she then wont be able to see you and can't message you. It is weird though that she is still able to message you even though you changed your settings so that she couldn't.

another way u can set ur privacy to only u . set ur privacy that no one can msgs me on fb if she/he not my friend .
