If someone sends me a birthday card via "Greetings" over facebook, is it spam?
Hello, my birthday is tomorrow and I'm trying to figure out if what this girl posted on my timeline is spam by the application called Greetings, or if it's legitimate. The post says "___________ shared a link via Greetings" with a picture of a happy birthday card. Can anyone help me out? I want to figure out whether I want to thank her or delete the spam.

it really depends on how you define spam
she obviously signed up to use the greeting app, which then automatically detects friends' birthdays and sends them an e-card so she probably didnt manually decide to specifically select it for you Ads |

Well, technically, it could be considered spam...
But essentially, it's not, as many of those automated birthday greeting e-cards make people's day. Yes, it's automated, but unlike most spam, this brings a smile to people's faces. Thank her. (: |
