Please help me with this girl! I want to tell her I like her but idk how. And I'm getting mixed signals!!?
First of all, we are both seniors in high school. I have liked her for about a year, and we are good friends. Whenever we see each other in person, she acts like she likes me, but I always have to text her first and she hasn't been continuing the conversation very well lately. A few weeks ago was registration for school and we were waiting in line in the auditorium with a bunch of other kids. She was down by the stage and I was far away from her on a different level. I was turned around when she yelled my name across the auditorium and waved at me to say hi. My friend has been trying to tell me I should give up on her and that girls want what they can't have so I need to pay even less attention to her. Last week at the school football game I was leaving and walking past the student section when she shouted my name like 5 times trying to get my attention. I didn't look at her and just kept walking. I felt bad when I got back to my car so I texted her saying "hey someone told me you were trying to get my attention when I was leaving. What's up?" and she never replied. I'm too scared to tell her how I feel because I'm pretty sure she has a thing with some other guy but I'm not sure. I like her so much so please help. Why doesn't she text me but then act all flirty when we see each other in person? Also, i'm pretty sure she's figured out that I like her by now. I just wish I could find out what she thinks of me. One last thing. A few months ago her friend hacked her twitter account and tweeted some flirty tweet at me saying let's get jiggy or something like that. Maybe her friend knows she likes me? Any opinions are welcome. Oh and also, today at an assembly I saw her talking with that guy I think she has a thing with and they sat next to each other. I feel like trying to tell her I like her but I'm too scared and I don't know how.

Ignoring her is definitely not the way to go. If you like her, paying less attention to her is most definitely not going to get you anywhere. You're never gonna know what she thinks about you unless you ask her. If her friend tweeted thaqt it could mean that she knows you like her or it could mean that the girl told her that she likes you. You've just gotta tell her how you feel or you're never gonna get her. good luck!

mine please? thanks!!

As for the texting thing, I think it's because she's waiting for you to text her first. I'm usually like that with guys myself. I feel annoying/that I'm bugging him if I'm the one usually texting first, so I'd just rather wait for him to come to me. I wouldn't take it personally or anything of that sort, it's just how girls tend to be.

If she's trying to get your attention a lot, there is a possibility that she might like you. But since it's kind of hard to tell, don't get your hopes up you know? Keep in mind that rejection is a possibility. If you still want to tell her how you feel, maybe text her and ask her if you could talk to her about something, and arrange a time/place to meet up. Then just tell her how you feel. Just be open and honest about it, and maybe ask her how she feels or if she feels the same way. Then you'll get your definite answer as to whether or not she likes you.

Good luck, I hope that helps. (:
Could you answer mine too please?
