Its going to depend on the source of the photo.
If you uploaded it from your computer--then delete the pic from your computer
If its photohosted thru a site like Flickr or Photobucket..then get rid of it on there.
If you temp photohosted it on TinyPic or ImageShack etc...then they only stay hosted
for around 6 months ( or close to that )..it will go away in time anyway.

You get the idea..you gotta get rid of the source of it.
BTW--if you have to delete it from your computer & want to still keep it.
.make a copy somehow before you delete it. Tinypic is good for that..since
you dont need an account there..

Deleting any item from Google is a complicated process. You must first be sure it is totally removed from the web site where it appeared.
I do have all the web pages for the solution, but you need to enable e-mail in your profile , and then use 'Contact via Yahoo Mail' to request it. (I just did this for another user a week ago - the solution is so long that it required two e-mails to send the full details.)

Please, set your profile to receive e-mail. It comes from Yahoo with a Subject: "You have received mail from another user". The mail has a link to reply or open the profile to identify the user - totally anonymous and safe. This helps answer givers add more or help with added details for your questions if needed. Click your profile Edit My Preferences, then Privacy & Communications, then 'The Answers Community can contact me:
^ Via Email (Your address will remain private)

Mine is enabled, so I can help.
