GUYS help! what did I do wrong?

So, I met this guy about a month ago. We exchanged numbers and said whenever there's something fun going on we would text each other. He texted me to go out with his friends and have a drink but I couldn't go, next time I texted him but he couldn't go. Last week I invited him to a party after having talked to him on facebook and texting almost everyday. We started to know each other better and there was definitely some flirting there. He showed up to the party and we danced all night, at the end we kissed. When he got home he texted me saying: I had a great time with you tonight I would love to do this again good night. . Last saturday I went out and said
: I wish you were here dancing with me.
he said:did you go out tonight?
I told him: wanna see me?
he: actually it depends on where my friends are going.
me: nevermind
he: but where are you?
I told him where I was but he didn't show up so I left . me: I was waiting for you a minute ago I just left.
he: you did not tell me where you were(I did) if we plan to go out like with your friends then I'll definitely go with you guys.

We haven't talked since then. I don't know if I pressured him or said something that might have scared him. Before we used to talk about going out together, now he basically says he wants to go out as a group. What does he mean? Be nice guys and thank you!

It doesn't sound like you told him anything that would send him running for the hills. He is with his friends and when he is with his friends, he is not going to leave them to hang out with some chick. They will call him names if he does so he chooses not to. He told you he would go if you are with your friends because he most likely wants to go with his friends. He wants you to take your friends and him to take his so everyone is having a good time. I have a main friend so whenever I get a woman's number, I ask if she has a friend so we can all go out together so everyone can have a good time.
