How did a spam status get posted by my Facebook account?

According to my page, 30 minutes ago I posted a status extolling the virtues of a magical weight-loss drug:

"is cool stuff! Really rocks! lost 7 pounds within a week
http://www.piwik.redheberg.com/fgwrapd.php"

...obviously I didn't actually post it. How did that spam ad get posted on my page, and how do I stop that from happening?

You played an app. Go to your account settings, then applications and remove everything except the ones you play like farmville.

Remove stupid fake surveys.

It sounds like you have caught some malware on your computer.
best thing to do is get an antimalware scanner such as Malwarebytes Antimalware or SuperAntiSpyware and run a scan on your computer. that should get rid of it.


Once you have got rid of the malware, you should install the FB Purity browser extension to keep your facebook clear from spam and other junk.
