facebook privacy question?

okay so . on facebook,i have some people who i don't want to see my status's.
so i went to privacy and made it so they can't see my status or anything. but it also makes it so they can't see any of my wall or post. and i've also tried the little 'lock' button on my profile page but that doesn't work either.
so i wanna know if there's a way to change that, cause i want some people to see my wall, but not my status.

also; i often update my status from my blackberry. when i log onto facebook from my computer, it won't let me hit the lock button.
Is that a glitch or anything ?

When you post a status that you dont want the certain people too see click the 'Lock looking icon' underneath the status bar & click customize then type in the name of the people who you dont want too see it
