What happened to my facebook account?

I can't see my friends on my Timeline and when I click on it, it says I have to find friends. But when I type in friends name and says "Add Friend".. It says I am already friends with the person. I can see their profile but I can't post on their wall except if they add a pic on the wall, I can comment or like.

I also can not see events or news feed from friends, it only shows on the things I put on my Likes.
I also had to re put in my information because it wasn't complete.

Is my account hacked? I already deactivated it a couple hours ago and activated it and still the same as when I logged into it something's wrong. Perhaps, I ignored some tour thing that kept popping up on my timeline "tour timeline" and I just skipped it.

I just logged it off last night and turned it off this morning and half of my info is gone.


If you can please help me step by step on what I can do to re store it. Thank you very much! =)

it's just a glitch - try again tomorrow - facebook is changing some more things and there are some side effects - it's not something you can fix yourself

There seems to be several hundred known people having this issue starting about midnight last night, and probably many more who haven't logged on today. There is one main thread going on about this issue in the facebook help community, so I would suggest posting there and keeping updated on that thread.

It seems that your friends still see you, and your friends still exist (if you try to friend them again it will tell you they are already your contact), but the glitch is keeping them from "existing" to your profile. It's stupid and I hope it gets fixed soon, just know you're not alone!
