Hey, I have a question about messaging an old friend?
So, I haven't talked to this one guy for years (I'm a girl). We were best friends, but then he moved.

I recently found out that he has Facebook ( I don't have Facebook, I deleted (YES, deleted. NOT deactivate) my account 2 years ago). I really do not want to create a new account just to talk to him. I don't know his phone number or anything.

What should I do? Create an account and send him a message? If I did that, what would I say, "HEY! I just created an account JUST to talk to you!!!"

Idk.. I really want to catch up and find out how life is treating him, you know?
What should I do or say to him?
Plus, If I add him on Facebook, and he see's I have 0 friends because I would just create the account for him, would that not be awkward?

Maybe you can find a friend willing to ask him for his email address. Or ask to use a friend's account just to message him yourself asking for his email address.
