How to get a lot of followers on twitter?

Generally, tweet useful information, interact with people (tweet them), and search for people with similar interests and follow them. If you want some more ideas or more detailed information, then pick up a book about Twitter. Go to http://www.squidoo.com/books-about-twitter and find one that will give you some ideas.
