how do you get your friends facebook status back on your home page?

on my mums facebook one of her friends status dont come up know more on her homepage , she still has her as a friend tho ! , my mum seems to think she might have changed settings somehow? how would she get her friend status to come back! thankyou very much

You can block people by clicking in their status. My guess is she did that accidentally. Look in your account settings for blocked users, see if she is in there.

If you don't "interact" with one of your friends for a certain length of time (say a week or two) then they seem to stop appearing on your "news feed" .....

This isn't official from the facebook rules or anything but I have noticed this happen on my own account and my son has seen it too on his.

If you comment or maybe click on "like" something then they'll begin to appear again.,
