This is a repost of my question but with a lot less detail

heres a list of things im not aloud to do:
1. im not allowed to shave, wax, remove hair from my legs, eyebrows, underarms ect
2. wear make up of anysort
3. straighten or curl my hair (im not even allowed to blow dry it after a shower)
4. wear any kind of 2 peice swim wear
5. have a boyfriend
6.go to or have sleepovers
7. go out with friends without adult supervision
8. have Facebook (even though i am legal age)
9.wear short skirts, shorts, dresses, tops ect or anything strapless & im not allowed to wear high heels
10.im not allowed to wear any nail polish (not even clear or any fake nails
11. My boobs are pretty big but im not allowed to be fitted and get a padded bra
I have tried talking to my parents but it always turns into an argument becuz they start to yell at me and make a big scene!!!

Yes! God bless your parents, I thought all hope for the human race was lost but now I'm ok, there is hope! I'm assuming your under 16 tho, if your not then no that's a tad crazy... But jeez girl no girl under 16 should need a padded bra wtf?? Or hoochie clothes including heels that mess up adults feet think what they do to growing feet! All these things with a couple exceptions are to sexualize you and can harm your growing and natural beauty, why curl your hair? Heat damage too young wat till you need it! Same with shaving and makeup... Some like the sleep evers and fb are just to protect you from things that happen far too often your parents either don't think ur mature enough to handle it due to actions words or friends or don't want to take that chance... I say amen! Stay young forever as long as u can get away with it, trust alllll the adults who've been young that you'll miss it wheen its overr I'm only 23 and I doooo!

By treating you like this there more likely to make you rebel and do the things your not aloud to do. My dad didn't let me out, didn't let me walk to school with boys etc. And when my parents separated my mum let me. I went nuts I was never in, I had boys play on my games consoles with me (not in my room though). Just make a stand and shave while there out.

Hello! So here are my thoughts (Please note that I have NO information on age, where you live, and your parents thoughts and views) Oh and a + means I am on YOUR side, - means I agree with you parents, and ~ Means mixed feelings
1.) ~
I have mixed opinions on this. Really, your legs aren't THAT big of a deal( Mainly because its looks as if you can really show off your legs) but Eyebrows and Underarms can look REALLY gross if you have tons of hair and can't shave.

Whats that great about makeup? (BTW, I am a 14 year old girl) Makeup makes most girls look like total sluts(This is just where I live though) -

I have NO idea what your hair looks like, but do you really have the time EVERY morning to do your hair? If it is every once and a while sure, but not EVERY day

I see what your parents are getting at(I think it looks too revealing when a girl wears a skimpy Bikini)
but Tankinis? Tankinis are WAY better then one pieces(You can pee withOUT striping!)

When I say this, I am NOT saying it is ok to have some Boyfriend what you start sneaking out with and having *** with all the time. But a relationship? Sounds like your parents are WAY too protective...

Not enough info. You want to go to the bad part of town at 1 am with just one friend? #1, That is stupid, and #2 you NEED an Adult. Want to go to the Movies at noon with 6 other people? NO ADULT SHOULD BE NEEDED!

1. If you want to shave your parents can't stop you. And I don't think they would notice if you did.
2. Well you don't need to wear make-up. No one does. I can understand if your parents thinks that you are to young for it.
3. This is a bit odd. But blow drying and curing your hair and damage it.
4. I can understand this. If I had a 13 year old I wouldn't let her wear a bikini. When your 18(comes faster than you think) you wear what you want.
5. This is something they can't really stop. since having a boyfriend at age 13 doesn't really mean much. It's not like you can really go places together or really do much. So it's not like you are missing out on anything.
6. This is a bit odd. They should try to get know your friends parents. Would they allow a sleep over at your house. Or have a party and invite your friends and their parents to meet?
7. This is a bit odd. But I don't know where you live. If you live in a nice neighborhood and your gonna stay in a nice neighborhood, walking around with friend or going to the mall shouldn't be an issue if you have a large group of friends and you are all together. But your parents know you best and they might have a reason to be concerned.
8. Just because Facebook thinks it ok for you to use their services doesn't mean that you should. There are perverts online that can try to get your info. There are other kids that bully kids online. Facebook isn't really all that. It much better to talk to your friend on the phone or in person about your life. Not everyone needs to know what you are doing every min of the day.
9. Your mom and dad don't want you to dress like a teenage prostitute. Good for them. Like I said before you wear these clothes when you are 18.(you will be 18 sooner than you think)
10. This is silly. Nail polish isn't bad. Maybe they think that you get it everywhere. Like shaving they might not get mad at you if you just do it. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. So if you want to do the nail polish thing then just do it.
11. If you need to wear a bra then you need to wear a bra. if you get an allowance than buy a bra. Wear it outside the house.


If your gonna do things that are disobedant, be good in other respects. Do your chores. If you don't have chores then start cleaning up around house. Do your school work without prodding and be polite.

When you're under 18, you're a child and subject to your parents rules. Sorry, deal with it. You're just gonna have to wait till you're an adult to act and dress like a tramp.
