Why are most older women so annoying on Facebook?
I've noticed that it seems like all the older women in their 50's-70's who I'm friends with on Facebook are totally annoying. They all share like a trillion photos a day, post annoying lovey-dovey statuses about their family, and comment weird things on all my statuses that have absolutely nothing to do with what I posted. One of these ladies who I barely even know posts on my Facebook wall on a weekly basis about the weather in her town and her dogs. A lot of them seem to have really bad typing skills and their posts are often completely inaudible. They seem to not understand netiquette or Internet boundaries, and it can be real annoying! Has anyone else noticed this at all, and if so why is it that older women tend to almost always be like this on Facebook?

You don't have to be friends with them so this entire yahoo answers post is irrelevant. But to humor you yes it can be annoying especially my mom Smile

You don't say how old you are but your life focus changes as you go through the years.

Teens and 20s .... school, first romances, work, first new independent experiences .... you've never known anything other than the internet ..... netiquette is second nature to you.

30s - 40s (my group; just) .... you've now chosen your career path and are well into your working life, probably have a family. This is the period where you're most settled. No guesswork. As for the net, computers and the internet ...
