What should I do about these pics of me my friend tagged me in on Facebook? Please read further details?

I don't want to delete them. I just want it so that only my friends who tagged me in them can see them on my page. I hate how I look in these pics. She looks great but I look horrible and awkward and I'm so shy and self conscious I just can't stand looking at them. Every time I go to log in on Facebook, there are the pics of me my friend tagged me in that haunt me. I can't take it anymore. I feel bad because they are a good memory and a fun time we all had when we went out when she came to visit from Minnesota. I don't want to hurt her feelings. I'm worried I am going to hurt her feelings if I hide them and she can't see them on my page. I already hid them from my profile and timeline but now I just feel so bad. She will get her feelings hurt if she sees I hid them. She treated me for a nice night when she came to visit (and bought everyone drinks she is so sweet and kind) now I feel awful for hiding the pics the other day. I just couldn't take it anymore. Every time I logged in t my FB account there they were really big and bigger and more noticeable than all the rest of my personal pics in albums. It was like this for months and months and I just had to hide them so I don't have to be disgusting by the way I look every day I log in. Please Help! What do I do? How do I just make it so she can only see the pics on my profile timeline but none of my other friends. I can not find a way to that with tagged pics only my pics I uploaded.

I know how you feel, this has happened to me before, If you go onto the photo, and click on options, go on the second one up which says 'Report/Remove Tag' go on that and tick the box that says I want to untag myself, and it will be removed I hope this helps!

calm down haha. I'll tell you the steps to take:

1. click on the arrow beside the word 'home' at the top
2. click on 'privacy settings'
3. scroll down the page, click on the second-option called 'timeline and tagging' click 'edit settings'
4. go to the fourth option called 'Who can see posts you've been tagged in on your timeline'
5. click on the arrow dropdown thing, and go to 'custom'
6. click on custom, you will see a box come up called 'custom privacy'. at the top you will see 'make visible to with a green arrow beside it.
7. on the little box, find 'specific people or lists' and click on it
8. in the box under that box, type in the girls name that you want to see things your tagged in
9. then click on save changes
10. your done, now only that girl can see things your tagged in

note: whoever the girl has as a friend on her facebook can still see the pictures your tagged in, so this doesn't really solve anything haha. tell her you will post these pictures on your facebook so you and her can share and enjoy them, but tell her to delete them from her facebook soo her friends can't see them.

You cannot change the setting of that images to your friends only as they were not posted by you. What you can do is un-tagg yourself from the image so non of your contacts will be able to see them. But all of your friend's (the one who posted the images) friends will still be able to see them.
