-1/15/10http://www.foxnews.com/world/2010/01/15/uns-world-health-organization-eyeing-global-tax-banking-internet-activity/:
The World Health Organization (WHO) is considering a plan to ask governments to impose a global consumer tax on such things as Internet activity or everyday financial transactions like paying bills online.

-9/16/10 http://www.lifesitenews.com/news/archive.../10091608:
NEW YORK, September 16 (C-FAM) - Sixty nations will present a declaration to implement an international currency transaction tax during the UN Millennium Development Goal (MDG) summit that begins next week at United Nations headquarters in New York. As members of the Leading Group on Innovative Financing for Development, these nations will propose a tax they contend is necessary to bridge alleged funding gaps for the MDGs. Estimates judge the gap in development financing to fall between $324-336 billion a year from 2012 to 2017.

United Nations Considers Global Internet Tax, Targets U.S. Websites

-7/7/12 http://news.cnet.com/8301-1009_3-5744937...s-show/#!:
The United Nations is considering a new Internet tax targeting the largest Web content providers, including Google, Facebook, Apple, and Netflix, that could cripple their ability to reach users in developing nations.

I think we all know the answer so elequently stated by democrat President Wilson (1913-1918):

“You are not here merely to make a living. You are here to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, and with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world. You impoverish yourself if you forget this errand.”

The UN can't impose taxes on the American people.

The fact that you think that makes me think you are either too stupid to read the Constitution and UN Charter or too lazy?

Clinton supported the Kyoto Protocols... which would have basically charged American manufacturers to fund a global "green fund" (from which Clinton would get a cut)... in order to pay for the clean-up of pollution from the world's worst polluters because they were still "developing."

...even the Democratic Congress wouldn't back Clinton on that one....

...but then again, they didn't back him on health care either...so times have obviously changed..
