How do you hide your friends list on Facebook with new privacy settings?

I understand that you have to go to the pencil in the corner of the box and un check the box that says show friends....in order to hide your other friends from your friends, but when I went to the privacy settings, and typed in the name to see what they see, it still has my friends shown. Can that person actually see them or is it because I am logged on and they are my friends. Please help me out, because if im not doing it right i want to know how. The old settings I had them hidden.

because when you uncheck the section "Show Friend List to everyone" has a note down of it..
Note: Your Friend List is always visible to Friends ... i start think that fcbk MOVE that setting.. and we CANT hide friend list of our friends... :| thats terrible

yeah I agree, you can uncheck the box with "show friend list to everyone", but you can't hide your friend list from your friends!
I'm very disappointed, cause I used to hide my friend list from everyone, included my friends!

Hope they will change the settings in order to allow that again!

Click Settings -> Privacy Settings -> Profile-> Basic -> Friends
->Customize...

and add your groups or people you do not want seeing your friends list to the except these list. Those people or groups will no longer be able to see your friends list.

Even tho there you type in the name of a person who sees your page, for some reason it does not show it correctly.

I still cannot hide friends list for my friends.
I cannot find the path: Click Settings -> Privacy Settings -> Profile-> Basic -> Friends
->Customize...
I can only come to settins- privacy settings - profile information, but then there is no "basic" so I cannot get there... is this the old privacy setting?
