Any help with Twitter @reply?

I'm still getting used to some features on twitter, and I was wondering about something with replies.
I know that if you put @___ at the beginning of a tweet, it will reply to that person, and people will see it if they follow both of you. I was wondering if you replied to someone, would the people who only follow them, and not you, be able to see the tweet?

no, they would not be able to see your reply, they would only see the response from your tweet to them.
