Are Our FB Likes "Publicized" Now...?
My friend told me that if you like a status, then ANYONE on Facebook can see it. I'm not sure how that even works. Is it true? If so, what safety precautions can I take (with taking down my profile as a last resort), specifically from mobile? Thanks. :/

It's true that everyone can see that you clicked like on something but as long as your privacy settings are the way you want them to be, your profile won't be accessed if the person looking at it isn't on your friend's list. If you've got people on your blocked list (as I do), they won't be able to see anything you've ever done (clicking like, commenting, posts on someone else's wall, etc.). Trust me.

It depends on your set privacy settings and post visibility preference.
Check your privacy setting and set them to your friends so your likes would. To control visibility of your liked pages, Go to your facebook timeline profile, click on likes. Click on the top right Edit button You will seen any one icon like globe (public) or friends Set any one friends, only me or custom as per your requirement. Now your liked pages visibility is limited and not public. |
