Can somebody use my picture at school?
At school in Government, we are having groups and one person from each group must be mayor. We are allowed to use posters and pictures, but a student went to my facebook and used it for a poster.
I know it is illegal to edit someones photo, but can they use it if they did not ask, and didnt edit it? (Other than putting text under) Ads |

If you are running for office, a lot of the copyright laws are disregarded by enthusiastic supporters.
All you can do is supply the photo you want on the poster and ask to have the one from your Facebook removed. Due to the cost of making campaign posters, you may just have to let it go and be aware what can happen next time |

Nope ... that's copyright infringement right there ... you can sue (in the states) for 150000$. I'm assuming you are the photographer ... if not then the photographer could sue (not you) and you have no say in this at all.
