how to get rid of ads 'not by this site'?
every site i go on there are ads. facebook, youtube, tumblr has them. how do i get rid of them?

It sounds like you have installed some malware by accident. You need to run malwarebytes antimalware or superantispyware program to get rid of it. Google them to get the required software.

Once you have got rid of the adware, you can also get rid of Facebook's normal ads and sponsored stories / content you dont wish to see, etc using the FB Purity web browser extension. You can get it here: http://fbpurity.com
