I was trying to block someone on Facebook but accidentally hit the add friend button! I panicked and blocked them straight after, does that automatically cancel the friend request?

There are reasons behind why accidents happen. And I am not stressing upon coincidences. Anyways a trick I always did was to add people friends who sent me request and to unfriend them the very next moment and by doing so no notifications are presented for your work done. If the person hasn't friended you yet,try to cancel the invitation. Or the better part will be to patiently wait and observe the behaviour of the person ,to how he react to the invitation you sent. It's never late to make friends even out of enemies.
