how do u save your privacy settings on facebook?

i just got a facebook and am trying to adjust the privacy settings. i just want friends to be able to see my posts and stuff put every time i say back to privacy the settings got back to default. how do i get these settings to save??

They should save automatically as soon as you set them.

If you choose a setting on the posts that isn't a customization, it will automatically save the setting for you. If it is a customized setting (fourth option under bullets) then it will have a blue "save setting" button for you.
