I play facebook and myspace apps all the time. I haven't had any virus from them. You can get them though like when you play on a game and it ask you to take a survey for that game about smthing different.

Perfectly fine, but if it directs you to another site...I wouldn't recommend it. Also, facebook checks reports and if an app sent a virus to someone the facebook team investigates and instigates.
