YOu can't. The facebook bullies are forcing it on everyone. The most you can do is go in and click on each thing to hide it from the timeline.
They don't care what people want, they just force changes. I don't know anyone who wants the timeline. It makes it more difficult to read. Ads |

Unfortunately, you can't. The timeline profile will eventually replace the old "wall" profile completely.

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update - they are now forcibly converting everyone slowly without your consent

Facebook are moving everyone to Timeline and you cant remove Timeline once its enabled on your account.
However, if you dont like the 2 column layout of timeline, you can view it in a single column format, which is similar to the old style profiles, if you install the FB Purity browser extension.
