How do I turn off the apps on my HTC Desire?
I just got it a few days ago, and I'm running a few apps (Facebook chat, Lookout, Hotspot), and I want to turn them off so they don't drain my battery.

sadly, you can't get rid of the ones that were originally in the phone. you CAN get rid of the ones you downloaded though.
settings>applications>manage applications>choose the application
