How to not feel bad about losing facebook friends?
I know it's not that big of a deal, but I always feel like... less than whenever I notice I lost friends on facebook. Sometimes it's people that I was knew and were close to. Like my friend that I use to see every day, but now I've moved away... but I noticed the other day he wasn't my friend anymore. Sometimes I just want to know why.
I guess everyone is just different. I always feel really bad about deleting friends and would only ever just block someone from status updates.

Tthanks in advance

Well, if you actually specifically pinpoint who took you off their list, you could ask them about it.

If you don't know who they are, you're most likely just a friend whore and nothing of value was lost if you can't even recognize the missing person.

I feel really bad about deleting friends, then don't do it. Maybe they wont delete you. You know the old saying, "what goes around, comes around."

Euphoric,

I was actually thinking about deleting some people -- not because I don't like them, but just because there are a lot of people I have on Facebook that I hardly ever see there or talk to, or that their lives and mine just don't interact any more. I didn't do it for the same reason you're talking about here. I wouldn't want to make them feel bad, but I like my files to be tidy. Still, people are more important than tidy files, so they'll stay as is unless someone becomes obnoxious and I have to drop them. That's happened a couple of times, but not with anyone I knew well.

Anyway, I encourage you not to take this to heart. In most cases (unless YOU've been obnoxious), people just want to have a more manageable news feed. I wouldn't notice if someone cut me off (well, most someones) because I have a lot of FB "friends" that I don't really know. They've requested to be friends with me because of other people I'm friends with. It's a house church thing, and everyone wants to know everyone else. FB probably isn't going to be the answer to that, but it's at least something.

Be blessed, Cindy

maybe ...
by having you on his friends list
your posts((naturally))are posted to his wall
maybe ...
youre important to him
he misses you
the distance too much
reality and truth set in

out of sight ..out of mind
maybe ...
by removing you
it helps his healing process
of getting on without you
