Please help with ex boyfriend issues?!?!?!?!?!?

So my ex boyfriend added me on facebook.We were together for a couple of months when I was at school in Illinois for college, but I moved back to California to finish up my last year. I tried talking to him back in august, but he completely ignored my message.

Now, I used to have my facebook profile on public so you can see my posts and statuses, but I recently got a job and i changed it to private so you couldn't see anything if you weren't my friend. And as soon as I changed it, the next day he adds me.

So anyways he writes on my wall and asks how I been. I tell him I've been good, just going to school and working. And i ask how about you? He says he's doing the same thing as last year but its better this time! So I write back Thats awesome, I'm happy for you. How is it better? And then he replies Cuz it is.

So idk whats up? Is he being an asshole like usual? It seems like it to me....I just want some opinions.

He sounds bored. You broke up for a reason. Just delete him. After all, it's not like you'll have an awkward run in with him at a party. He's far, far away.
